Biomass Shredders
SHREDDER - FOR SMALL CUBES LOOSE STRAW
Shredder is designed to crumble loose straw or straw cubes, manually delivered to the loading chamber.
Shredder works perfectly with briquetting press BIOMASSER DUO composing this way BIOMASSER DUO-SET.
Shredder can also work with BIOMASSER SOLO.
Easy Operation
Straw cube (prior remove cord) or loose straw is manually delivered to the loading chamber. Shredder cuts the straw into pieces and the chopped straw goes out through outlet chute.
Chopped straw length depends on the size of the screen mounted in the shredder.

The mill with the electric drive is designed for the industrial, production and power engineering applications due to high chopped straw production capacity and electric terminals access. TOMASSER works perfectly with bale loading table loading table.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The mill cutting head and drum are driven by the electric motors. The motors are equipped with the power consumption optimisation system, which assures the soft start and controls the shredder loads, preventing the chopped straw outlet clogging. Chopped straw length depends on the screen used.
Procedure without loading table:
- the operator opens safety grate
- loads the bale (prior removes the strings)
- closes the grate
- starts the tractor and the shredder
- the chopping begins
- stops the shredder and the tractor
- repeat the cycle.
Procedure with loading table:
- the operator places the bales on the loading table
- the strings are removed
- he runs the drive of the table and the bale goes into the drum
- then the operator starts the mill and the chopping begins
- when the first bale is almost chopped, the next bale is delivered into the drum
- and the cycle repeats.
OPTIMUM POWER CONSUMPTION
Intelligent power consumption is achieved by optimising the control of a main drive motor with "soft-start". The motor which controls the rotation of the drum is connected electronically to the main drive motor, ensuring that the main motor is working at the optimum load continually. These features prevent overload, unnecessary stops, and assure high efficiency at optimum power consumption.
PRODUCTIVITY
Chopping two bales of 400 kilograms total weight by a Tomasser with 30kW main drive takes only ten minutes, at an average active power of 26kW, screen 22mm, so 1 bale within 5 minutes! It gives 400 kg of chopped straw in 10 minutes, accordingly 2400 kg of biomass within an hour! Using greater holes e.g. 28 mm and total installed power of the main engine 30kW there is possibility to achieve over 2500 kg of biomass within an hour!

Tractor Mounted Bale Shredder
The shredder for straw bales, mounted on PTO, is designed for the farms equipped with the tractor. Shredder works perfectly with bale loading table.
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The shredder cutting head drive is transmitted from the power take-off shaft. The shredder drum rotation is realised by the hydraulic motor, powered from the tractor flow distributor.
The cutting mass efficiency growth is obtained by increasing the rotational speed of the cutting head and drum.
Chopped straw length depends on the screen used.

Operations managed by tractor operator. The procedure is:
